March 2018 Letter from Annette
Dear Partner,
I don’t recall living in such a time when there is so much division and fighting and disagreement. Nor do I ever remember such anger being expressed by the general population. We can look at this and point fingers at others, blaming political groups, individual people, or organizations as responsible for the chaos, or we can look behind the scenes at the root cause.
“For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12 MEV)
All that is happening in the earth today is also happening in the unseen realm, the realm of the spirit – where angels and demons exist and operate. You see, the true battle is in the spirit realm and it is spilling over into the natural realm as the forces of the enemy (knowing their time is short) fight to gain control of people’s minds, emotions and yes, even their bodies. For it is through the control of people that satan can influence and attempt to gain control of the economic and political systems of the world. Maybe he thinks he can win and prevent the Lordship and kingdom of Christ from being established on this earth, or at least buy himself some time. But guess what? He loses! God wins! God has already declared the end from the beginning. At the end of the 6000 year earth lease, the millennial reign of Christ begins. There is an end to the lease God gave Adam and it is closer now than it has ever been!
Remember that what you see happening is not just happening in the physical realm where we live. Put on the whole armor of God, yield yourself to the Holy Spirit and the fruits of righteousness – peace, love, joy. Jesus said, “You will know them by their fruit.” (Matthew 7:15-22 and Galatians 5:19-23)
