Divine Protection and Angels

You may wonder why I am placing such an emphasis on Psalm 91, divine protection, and the ministry of angels this year. The Holy Spirit began to impress me last fall to teach and instruct the body of Christ that we have safety in God in order to build our faith and confidence in His protection. Faith comes by hearing, and we must continually hear something to develop our faith so that when threats or danger come against us, we instantly resort to what the Word says. And…if that Word is in our heart, then that is what will come out of our mouth. We will not speak words of fear or doubt, but words of faith and trust in the Almighty God.
I remember specific incidents in my life when I was in imminent danger. Because I had memorized the 91st Psalm (and spoke it out loud often), my instantaneous reaction was to speak the Word, not cry out in fear. Several of these incidents took place when I was flying, not because it is so dangerous but because I was in an airplane so much!
Flying from Oklahoma to Arkansas, the engine on my Piper Arrow started surging and I lost power to maintain altitude. It appeared that there was a fuel flow issue and the engine was about to totally quit on me. Immediately I declared “Thank God the angels are with me!” My flight training kicked in and as I began to descend from 10,000 feet, I checked all possible sources of the problem and prepared for an emergency landing. As I prayed in tongues and descended through 4000 feet, the engine suddenly smoothed out and was running normally again and I returned to the airport safely.
Yes, it gets tense when danger appears, but that is the exact time that you need to maintain focus on the solution, not the problem. Speaking the Word in faith and praying in the Spirit in tongues always takes you to the solution of any problem. What are your angels hearing out of your mouth? I urge you to speak the 91st Psalm until that is what pops out whenever you face danger, plagues, or calamity of any kind.
“No evil shall befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:10-11 NKJV)
